pSivida Closes $17.8 Million Offering

WATERTOWN, Mass., Jan. 13, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- pSivida Corp. (NASDAQ:PSDV) (ASX:PVA), a leader in the development of sustained release drug delivery products for treating eye diseases, today announced the closing yesterday of the underwritten public offering of 4,440,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $4.00 per share, which included the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase up to 440,000 additional shares of common stock, reflecting gross proceeds to pSivida of $17.8 million. pSivida expects net proceeds from the offering to equal approximately $16.4 million after fees and expenses. Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., a subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE MKT:LTS), and Northland Securities acted as the joint book-running managers for the offering.
